  • Crown Lodge is a large two storey house set in its own grounds overlooking Harlech. The drive up to the house is well light, but somewhat uneven, and may present some difficulties for people with visual impairment and mobility problems.  There is a large car park available.  Crown Lodge is approximately ¾ mile from Harlech Station, but up a steep incline. There is a limited bus service which passes the building. Crown Lodge is a short walk to the shops of Harlech along narrow roads.
  • Crown Lodge is accessible to wheelchairs via the rear entrance and there is an accessible en- suite bedroom available on the ground floor. Other bedrooms are also available on the ground floor but are not suitable for wheelchair users. There is no lift in the building and the second floor is reached via a staircase. Crown Lodge is spacious and has large, airy public rooms.
  • There is a disabled public toilet and a telephone available on the ground floor.
  • There is good mobile phone coverage in the area.
  • Assistance dogs are welcomed, and although there is no free run available in the grounds, the surrounding area is more than adequate to exercise a dog.
  • A portable hearing loop is available, but please give prior notice as it will need to be installed.
  • A vibrating pillow alarm is available to alert if the fire alarm at night goes off.
  • For those not taking the self catering option, a large range of dietary requirements can be met.

Coleg Harlech staff are committed to providing the best possible to service to all our students and visitors and will assist in whatever way they can. Please feel free to ask for any assistance. This statement and other literature where possible, can be made available in large format and is available by post, fax and electronically.
